We are looking for a GDPR Compliance Specialist based in our Poznań location to join our ROCKWOOL Global Business Service Center team.

Your future team: 

You will be part of the international ROCKWOOL Group Legal and Compliance team that works closely with all local legal counsels and compliance managers throughout the ROCKWOOL group and supports the business within 20+ legal areas of responsibility.

What you will be doing: 

Your work will have positive ramifications throughout the ROCKWOOL Group – you will be crucial in helping your colleagues appreciate and implement good data privacy practices.

More specifically, you will: 

  • Define and implement data protection requirements and standards across all aspects of the business, with particular emphasis on digital solutions,

  • Provide legal advice and legal support regarding data protection for the ROCKWOOL Group companies throughout the world,

  • Manage and improve digital tools for data process mapping,

  • Prepare and roll out improvements through updating our policies, manuals, procedures and templates,

  • Conduct GDPR compliance trainings of personnel,

  • Increase and strengthen GDPR compliance messages via various platforms,

  • Perform regular reviews and provide reports on key legal risks and issues related to the supported legal entities of ROCKWOOL Group,

  • Support other projects related to data protection as a member of the ROCKWOOL data protection organization,

  • Handle and coordinate the cooperation with external lawyers.

What you bring: 

  • Master’s degree, preferably in law, but other relevant degrees can also be considered,

  • At least 5 years of experience from a similar position, preferably in an international company,

  • Fluent spoken and written English,

  • Natural communicator, able to convey complicated legal matters simply and engagingly, regardless of the audience.

  • Well-organized, thorough and diligent in your work approach.

  • Willing to travel periodically for business purposes.

ROCKWOOL Global Business Service Center located in Poznań opened in 2016 with 27 employees. Today we are more than 450 employees and still expanding.
