Le gestionnaire de programme associé (APM) fait partie intégrante de l'équipe des programmes de soutien aux patients (PSP) de McKesson, chargé d'aider au développement, à la conception, aux opérations, à la planification et à l'exécution du programme aux côtés du gestionnaire de programme et de l'équipe stratégique. Le rôle est de collaborer avec les patients, les pharmaciens, les médecins, les cliniques, les fabricants, les programmes de soutien aux patients et les membres de l'équipe multidisciplinaire de McKesson.

L'APM sera également responsable de la coordination et de la prestation de services liés aux patients et aux prestataires de soins de santé (HCP) en soutenant les programmes McKesson et les partenaires industriels. Ainsi, l'APM répondra aux demandes des professionnels de la santé et des patients, dirigera la coordination des tâches de documentation et d'analyse de données dans les programmes cliniques, utilisera des compétences de communication et des capacités efficaces de résolution de problèmes. Ils veilleront à ce que les programmes assignés soient exécutés de manière professionnelle, respectant les indicateurs de performance clés et conformément aux spécifications et aux accords établis.

Section A - Responsabilités spécifiques

  • Participer et conseiller le gestionnaire de programme, l'Ă©quipe de direction et les fabricants pharmaceutiques dans le dĂ©veloppement et l'optimisation du programme.
  • Identifier rapidement et de manière proactive les problèmes liĂ©s au programme ; recommander rapidement des solutions basĂ©es sur les commentaires des clients, leur propre jugement et leurs recherches ; et rĂ©soudre les problèmes qui ont un impact sur la gestion et la direction du programme.
  • Offrir un service de haute qualitĂ©, empathique et efficace aux pharmaciens, aux professionnels de la santĂ© et aux patients nĂ©cessitant un soutien non clinique, conformĂ©ment Ă  la portĂ©e du programme.
  • Suivre et documenter les donnĂ©es pertinentes sur les patients, les pharmacies ou les clients Ă  l'aide du système informatique appropriĂ© et en utilisant la grammaire et l'orthographe appropriĂ©es.
  • Travailler de manière indĂ©pendante et avec une supervision limitĂ©e pour atteindre et dĂ©passer les objectifs et les KPI du programme. Soyez proactif et prenez des initiatives pour rĂ©pondre aux attentes des clients.
  • Entretenir et dĂ©velopper de nouvelles relations et communiquer avec les principaux leaders d'opinion (KOL), notamment les pharmaciens, les mĂ©decins, les infirmières et les associations de patients.
  • Travailler avec et coordonner plusieurs applications Web et plateformes numĂ©riques pour soutenir les programmes cliniques dans les domaines thĂ©rapeutiques spĂ©cialisĂ©s et non spĂ©cialisĂ©s. Agir Ă  titre d'expert en la matière sur la plateforme technologique rĂ©pondant aux diffĂ©rentes parties prenantes.
  • Assurer la liaison avec plusieurs unitĂ©s commerciales pour coordonner, organiser et diriger des rĂ©unions d'Ă©quipe tout en fournissant des informations prĂ©cieuses et des mises Ă  jour sur les activitĂ©s liĂ©es au programme.
  • Soutenir l'Ă©laboration de matĂ©riel de marketing et de documentation de formation pour le programme.
  • DĂ©finit, suit, analyse et rend compte de l'activitĂ© du programme et des KPI en dĂ©veloppant un tableau de bord, le cas Ă©chĂ©ant.
  • Élaborer des SOP, des manuels et des lignes directrices du programme pour les parties prenantes internes et externes du programme.
  • S'assurer que les SOP du programme sont complĂ©tĂ©es, documentĂ©es et stockĂ©es conformĂ©ment aux politiques de confidentialitĂ© et de stockage des donnĂ©es de McKesson.
  • Veiller Ă  ce que les requĂŞtes reçoivent une rĂ©ponse rapide et efficace et Ă  ce que les parties prenantes reçoivent des informations et une assistance pertinentes.

  • Participer et assister aux activitĂ©s d'amĂ©lioration continue du dĂ©partement liĂ© aux processus, Ă  la qualitĂ©, Ă  la formation, etc.
  • Évaluer de manière proactive les programmes et faire des suggestions pour amĂ©liorer les rĂ©sultats et la qualitĂ© du service.
  • Maintenir l'exactitude des donnĂ©es du programme en examinant la documentation du programme pour en vĂ©rifier l'exhaustivitĂ© et la cohĂ©rence.
  • Travaillez avec votre responsable pour maintenir et mettre Ă  jour vos objectifs de performance et de dĂ©veloppement personnels.


Section C - Exigences du poste
  • Un diplĂ´me universitaire dans un domaine liĂ© Ă  la santĂ© ou aux sciences de la vie est prĂ©fĂ©rable.
  • Au moins 3 ans d'expĂ©rience dans le domaine des services aux patients, de la pharmacie de dĂ©tail, des programmes de pharmacie ou dans un domaine connexe des soins de santĂ©, y compris les mĂ©dicaments spĂ©cialisĂ©s.
  • Une expĂ©rience dans un environnement/industrie de la santĂ© et une connaissance de la terminologie mĂ©dicale sont un atout.
  • Comprendre l'espace de soins de santĂ©, les plateformes de santĂ© numĂ©riques et virtuelles.

Job Summary

The Associate Program Manager (APM) is an integral part of McKesson's Patient Support Programs (PSP) team, responsible for assisting in the program's development, design, operations, planning and execution alongside the Program Manager and Strategic Team. The role involves collaborating with patients, pharmacist, physicians, clinics, manufacturers, patient support programs and members of McKesson's multidisciplinary team.

The APM will also be responsible for the coordination and delivery of services related to both patients and Health Care Providers (HCPs) in supporting McKesson programs and industry partners. Thus, the APM will respond to HCP and patients' inquiries, lead coordination of documentation and reporting duties in clinical programs, utilize effective communication skill, and effective problem-solving abilities. They will build strong working relationships both internally and externally with key stakeholders and PSP team members.

The APM should be able to proactively and swiftly identify and resolve program issues or challenges, implement strategic solutions and track performance. The APM will act within the team as the subject matter expect on key activities related to their job function. They will ensure that the programs assigned are executed professionally, meeting key performance indicators and in accordance to established specifications and agreements.

Section A - Specific Responsibilities

  • Duties and responsibilities generally include but are not limited to:
  • Participate and council the program manager, management team and pharma manufacturers in the program development and optimization.
  • Rapidly and proactively identify program issues; promptly recommend solutions based on customer feedback, own judgment and research; and solve problems that impact the management and direction of the program.
  • Offer high quality, empathetic and efficient service to pharmacists, HCPs and patients requiring non-clinical support as per program scope.
  • Track and document patient, pharmacy or relevant customer data using the appropriate computer system and by using proper grammar and spelling.
  • Work independently and with limited supervision to attain and surpass program objectives and KPIs. Be proactive and take initiative to achieve customer expectations.
  • Maintain and develop new relationships and communicate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) including Pharmacists, Physicians, Nurses and Patient Associations.
  • Work with and coordinate between multiple web applications and digital platforms to support clinical programs in specialty and non-specialty therapeutic areas. Act as a subject matter expert on technology platform responding the various stakeholders.
  • Liaise with multiple business units to coordinate, set up, and lead team meetings while providing valuable insight and updates on program related activities.
  • Support the development of marketing materials and training documentation for the program.
  • Defines, tracks, analyzes and reports program activity and KPIs by developing a dashboard, as applicable.
  • Develop program SOPs, manuals and guidelines for internal and external program stakeholders.
  • Ensure program SOPs are completed, documented and stored according to McKesson privacy and data storage policies.
  • Ensure that queries are answered promptly and efficiently and that stakeholders receive relevant information and assistance.

  • Foster and maintain a team environment by maintaining open lines of communication with peers, managers, and other departments.
  • Ensure all privacy and confidentiality requirements are followed while developing and implementing innovative programs.
  • Understand public policy and stay well informed of market trends and changing provincial legislation within the Canadian provinces.
  • Remain up-to-date on all training requirements. Maintain expert knowledge and skills through the availability of medical and non-medical education & training.
  • Participate and assist in departmental continuous improvement activities related to process, quality, training, etc.
  • Proactively assess programs and make suggestions to enhance outcomes and quality of service.
  • Maintain program data accuracy through review of program documentation for completeness and consistency.
  • Work with your manager to maintain and update personal performance and development goals.


Section C - Position Requirements
  • Experience and qualifications
  • University Degree in a healthcare or life sciences related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in working in patient services, retail pharmacy, pharmacy programs or related health care field including specialty medication.
  • Experience in healthcare environment/industry and knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
  • Understand the healthcare space, digital and virtual health platforms.
  • Excellent understanding of the main software tools including MS Office suite.
  • Bilingual; excellent verbal and written communication in English and French is preferred.
  • Excellent phone etiquette, professional, courteous and efficient.
  • Positive attitude and exceptional listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail with proven ability to set priorities, and multi- task in order to meet various competing work deadlines.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills in order to resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

$61,900 - $103,100
