Sharethrough recherche un responsable expérimenté en ingénierie pour diriger notre équipe de la Plateforme d'Échange, chargée de fournir les services techniques essentiels à grande échelle et hautement disponibles qui alimentent nos produits. Notre plateforme d'échange connecte des sites web de renom, des applications mobiles et la télévision connectée à des annonceurs de premier plan à plus de deux millions de requêtes par seconde (et cela ne cesse de croître!). Responsabilités

• Votre responsabilité principale sera de diriger l'équipe de la Plateforme d'Échange tout en créant et en itérant sur nos services hautement disponibles.
• Mener des entretiens individuels hebdomadaires avec les membres de votre équipe où vous établirez des relations individuelles significatives et vous assurerez que les bonnes personnes occupent les bonnes fonctions. Vous les aiderez à devenir des versions plus fortes d'eux-mêmes, en fixant des attentes claires et en fournissant des retours francs et opportuns tout au long du processus.
• Vous serez suffisamment impliqué dans le code pour vous identifier personnellement à ce qu'il faut à votre équipe pour développer et livrer des logiciels.
• Itérer et améliorer nos processus d'ingénierie et notre culture technique. Nos méthodes de développement de produits ont été créées par une collaboration étroite entre les équipes produit et ingénierie, et vous en ferez partie.
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les responsables des équipes Produit et Solutions, en veillant à ce que votre équipe se concentre sur la transformation des bons problèmes en solutions au bon moment, et que vous soyez capable de représenter vos services à travers l'ingénierie et l'ensemble de Sharethrough.
• Collaborer avec le recrutement technique pour développer votre équipe, en faisant évoluer nos processus d'entretien et d'intégration au fur et à mesure.

Qualifications

• Vous avez dirigé une équipe backend et avez des bases en systèmes distribués (conception, mise à l'échelle, surveillance, etc.).
• Vous avez une expérience de production avec des systèmes backend/distribués similaires aux nôtres : un langage basé sur la JVM et la collection de services AWS qui alimentent notre infrastructure (EC2, Dynamo, Kinesis, Lambda, etc.) et pour ceux que vous ne connaissez pas, vous êtes prêt à apprendre.
• Vous avez fait partie d'une équipe qui a livré des logiciels dans le cadre d'un processus basé sur Agile, et vous êtes familier avec des pratiques connexes : Amélioration Continue, Livraison Continue, Développement Piloté par les Tests, Infrastructure en tant que Code, etc.
• Une certaine familiarité avec la technologie publicitaire (Ad Tech) serait bénéfique. Sinon, nous pouvons vous former rapidement. L'écosystème est vaste, complexe et évolue constamment sur l'ordre des mois, ce qui rend cette industrie à la fois stimulante et passionnante.

• Sharethrough is looking for an experienced engineering lead to manage our Exchange Platform team, responsible for providing the scaled and highly-available core set of technical services that power our products. Our exchange connects brand-name websites, mobile applications, and connected TV to leading advertisers at over two million queries per second (and growing!). If you enjoy the challenges of building a low-latency, scaled distributed system with a cross-functional group of smart and fun engineers and product managers, then a role with the Exchange Platform team is for you!

Responsibilities

• Your primary responsibility will be to lead the Exchange Platform team as you create and iterate on our highly available services.
• Conduct weekly 1-on-1s with the people on your team where you will form meaningful individual relationships and ensure the right people are in the right roles. You’ll help them become stronger versions of themselves, setting clear expectations and providing candid, timely feedback along the way.
• You’ll have your hands in the code enough to personally identify with what it takes for your team to build and ship software.
• Iterate and improve our engineering processes and technical culture. Our methods of product development were created by product and engineering working closely together, and you’ll be a part of that.
• Work closely with leaders on the Product and Solutions teams, helping to ensure that your team is focused on translating the right problems into solutions at the right time, and that you’re able to represent your services across Engineering and all of Sharethrough.
• Work with technical recruiting to grow your team, evolving our interviewing and onboarding processes as you go.

Qualifications

• You’ve managed a backend team and have a foundation in distributed systems (design, scaling, monitoring, etc.).
• You have production experience with backend/distributed systems similar to our own: a JVM-based language and the collection of AWS services that power our infrastructure (EC2, Dynamo, Kinesis, Lambda, etc.) and for the parts you don’t, you’re excited to learn.
• You’ve been a part of a team that’s shipped software within an Agile-based process, and are familiar with related practices: Continuous Improvement, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development, Infrastructure-as-Code, etc.
• Some familiarity with Ad Tech would be beneficial. If not, we can skill you up quickly. The ecosystem is large, complex and constantly evolving on the order of months, which is what makes this both a challenging and exciting industry to be a part of.
