The Global Accounts Receivable Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating the global Accounts Receivable (AR) function for Catapult. Based in Boston, this role will require a keen eye for detail, understand what great AR and order-to-cash processes look like and is always searching to optimize and improve procedures and workflows.Â
This role also manages a global team, with five employees based across our Melbourne, Boston and Dundalk locations. The ideal person for this opportunity will be someone enthused and energised about working for a global leader in its industry, and also willing to be a key member of a global finance team and leading a high performing function within the finance team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage and coordinate the global AR function including managing a global team, with five employees based across our Melbourne, Boston and Dundalk locations.
- Play a key cross-functional role in setting up a best in class order-to-cash process across our global business Â
- Maintaining and continuously improving procedures and processes for the AR function including the communication and training of AR team membersÂ
- Lead ongoing process improvement initiatives across the AR function
- Develop ongoing analysis of the debtors ledger to identify any concerning trends or patternsÂ
- Support the global month end and half year/full year end process as set by the Director, Finance
- Building productive relationships with commercial team to ensure a smooth flow of information on sales deals whilst adhering to company business rules
- Maintaining the billing system across multiple subsidiaries and currencies
- Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
- Reconciliation of accounts receivable ledger for multiple subsidiaries in multiple currencies
- Regular AR reporting and analyses including collections and debtor updates
- Develop ongoing analysis of the debtors ledger to identify any concerning trends or patterns
What You’ll Need:
- Extensive experience of the end to end AR process, including experience as a Team Lead, Mentor, CoachingÂ
- Experience with multi-currency debtor ledgers and subsidiaries (including AUD, USD, GBP, EUR, CNY, JPY)
- Experience with complex sales orders, multiple product sets and multiple revenue recognition policies including subscription contracts
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally
- Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail
- Competent Microsoft Excel skills and competent in all the key elements of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Netsuite accounting package and Salesforce CRM desirable
- Experience of working for a SaaS (software as a service) business desirable
- An ability to be proactive, curious and resourceful whilst problem solving
