Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Partner Manager to join our team.  

The Global Partner Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to onboard and manage a new partnership developed to establish an AvidXchange capability center in Pune, India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and nurturing relationships, driving revenue growth through partnerships, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve shared objectives.

This is a senior level role reporting directly to VP Technology Strategy, Planning and Process Improvement within Technology Delivery & Operations (TD&O).  

Key Responsibilities  

Relationship Management: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our Global Capability Center partner at all levels, from executives to operational teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration. 
  • Serve as primary contact for global capability center communications and issue resolutions. 

Enablement & Support: 

  • Develop and deliver partner enablement programs with input from subject matter experts, including training, resources, and support, to ensure partners have the knowledge and tools needed to succeed. 

Performance Tracking & Reporting: 

  • Monitor partner performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reporting to internal stakeholders to assess partnership effectiveness and ROI. 
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide partner feedback. 

Program Management: 

  • Coordinate and monitor project/workstream activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives. 
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets. 
  • Track progress and report on key metrics to stakeholders. 
  • Identify and mitigate risks; minimize the need for escalation.  

Financial Management: 

  • Monitor overall and project specific budget and expenses in partnership with Finance. 
  • Review vendor invoices and ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements. 
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization. 

Stakeholder Communication: 

  • Communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior leadership. 
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions with cross functional teams. 
  • Coordinate internal and external teams to resolve issues and ensure alignment with company priorities. 

Process Improvement: 

  • Continuously evaluate and improve management processes and procedures. 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency. 
  • Implement best practices and industry standards for vendor management and operational governance. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Once the Global Capability Center is operational, collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and other internal teams to develop joint initiatives and go-to-market strategies with partners. 

Risk Management: 

  • Assess and mitigate risks in a timely manner associated with project delivery, infrastructure, security, governance, and schedules. 
  • Monitor and address potential issues related to performance, staffing and financial stability. 
  • Develop contingency plans to manage risks related to Business Continuity Planning (BCP). 

Compliance and Security: 

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. 
  • Maintain documentation related to contracts and agreements. 
  • Implement and enforce best practices related to data security, reporting and project management. 
  • Coordinate reviews on all performance parameters identified. 
  • Responsible for reporting and tracking of all open issues with senior leadership within AvidXchange. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or related technology fields. 
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience working with vendors operating out of India.  
  • Travel to India required. 
  • Previous experience standing up and/or managing a global capability center relationship preferred.
