(CDA) is a community based, multiservice non-profit agency with over 300 employees dedicated to creating positive change in our local community. Purpose of Role: As a Graphic Design Representative, you will support the Communications Team by developing high-quality visual and graphic content. This position is responsible for creating engaging flyers, publications, social media graphics, and both digital and print campaigns that align with CDA’s brand identity and communication goals. Who We’re Looking For: • Minimum of three years’ professional experience in graphic design, marketing, or a related field. • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Canva. • Strong understanding of branding, layout, color theory, and typography. • Highly skilled in proofreading and editing visual content for accuracy and quality. • Experience creating content for web and social media platforms. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently. • Able to manage multiple projects professionally, meeting deadlines with minimal oversight. • Responsive to design requests in a timely, customer-focused manner. • Provides excellent customer service to internal stakeholders. • Team player with a proactive, solution-oriented approach. • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills. • Experience working in nonprofit or social service program environments. • Bilingual in Spanishrequired. Summary of Responsibilities: • Design and produce appropriate and visually compelling graphics for presentations, reports, social media, websites, e-mail communications, digital media, newsletters, print ads, press releases, and other marketing material. • Monitor digital and print content for consistency with CDA’s brand identity, including tone, style, and visual elements. • Develop digital and print campaigns to support agency-wide and program-specific goals. • Prepare visual and communication components of change documents submitted to California Department of Social Security (CDSS) and CalHR. • Support Communications with the management, execution and monitoring of all design projects; create and maintain project schedules, project status reports, and updates. • Respond to design requests submitted to Communications or route request to appropriate person to resolve or process as required. • Collaborate with multiple departments and community-facing teams to fulfill design and visual communication needs. • Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions to contribute ideas and creative solutions. • Contribute ideas and take creative ownership while working within established brand guidelines. • Collaborate with the Communications Team on content calendars, campaign planning, and strategic communication initiatives. • Serve as a backup for website updates, including content, imagery, graphics, and web migration tasks. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide graphic design and communication support to other CDA departments. • Participate in on- and off-site learning opportunities/program collaborations such as workshops, conferences, staff meetings and trainings. • Other duties supporting CDA programs and special projects as assigned. Work Schedule:Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. However, may require evening and weekend hours based on the needs of the program.Office/Remote (hybrid) options available after training has been completed.
