Graphic Designer

Role Overview: 

This role means you will be a key contributor with regards to your expertise. Work is determined with your direct manager with ongoing guidance from the team too. You will ensure that your work gets refinement by your manager and/or team on a regular basis. You will need to consider the implications to your team when structuring your approach for your work stream. There will be cross-functional engagement within the team with peers, managers and/or directors. It is essential that specialists focus on customer needs so you clearly align to business priorities. You will be tasked with problems that are routine and finite to showcase your abilities. This role is based onsite in our Cape Town office.

What You Will Be Doing:  

• Have a strong grasp and adhere to our visual identity system
• Contribute to ideation for campaigns and various creative materials for audiences
• Simultaneously execute on multiple design briefs for multiple departments within SuperSportBET
• Work closely with in-house Designers to provide mock-ups, storyboards and final executed materials for campaigns
• Develop illustrations, Iconography and other designs
• Design marketing collateral for banners, emails, onsite designs, social media, landing pages and other digital assets 
• Create rich media content, including multimedia, video textual, photographic, motion graphics, slideshow and animation
• Edit and animate videos for both internal and external projects
• Research best practice and design trends and ensure all design work adheres to the Brand guidelines.

What You Need for This Role:  

• 3+ years as a Graphic Designer
• Fully literate in latest design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Figma, Canva)
• Understand digital and social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube, TikTok)
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects would be advantageous
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Passion for sports
