Job Description
Your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
- Assist the Group Consolidation Leader in preparing monthly consolidated financial statements for QIMA Group.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly Management package for the whole QIMA Group.
- Review consolidated cash reconciliation between Treasury's cash report with the Group's general ledgers.
- Prepares and reviews monthly Intercompany reconciliations for the whole group.
- Handles IFRS16 related adjustments at consolidation level.
- Handles uploading of financial statements from NetSuite to Sigma Consolidation software.
- Ensure validation of data is resolved and recurring local and conso adjustments are properly recorded in conso software.
- Supports Group annual audit compliance conducted by our external auditors.
- Maintain stable relationship with local finance team and across QIMA function.
Qualifications
If could be you if you have:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA is preferred. In addition, you must have an extensive knowledge of accounting principles and experience of minimum of 2-3 years in General Ledger & Consolidation.
- Computer skills: Proficient in computer applications, especially in MS Excel, MS Outlook, accounting software - NetSuite is an advantage and other Consolidation applications.
- Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively is paramount to the success of the Group Consolidations. You must be able to communicate very well across QIMA organization especially with Finance & Accounting team. Superior reporting skills is a must have.
- Analytical Thinking: The role of Group Consolidation Specialist has high involvement in the analysis of financial data and ensuring correct reporting based on QIMA standards. A "Yes we can" attitude, fast learner, detail-oriented, and autonomous gives advantage to the success of the team.
