Group Financial Controller 

Are you an ambitious Financial Controller looking for a new challenge? Working alongside the VP, Finance, the Group Financial Controller will help lead and develop a world-class finance function, and help facilitate the organisation's continued growth. 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team across Management and Financial Accounts, Tax, Treasury, and Payroll ensuring each team member is set up for success. 

This is a hybrid working opportunity, which requires 1 day a week in our Bristol HQ.
 

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

• Leading the Financial and Management accounts teams to deliver timely and accurate reporting to all stakeholders

• Responsible for executing all areas of business tax compliance and advice

• Oversee key controls required to manage cash effectively

• Responsible for championing the core systems required to enable the financial reporting of Immersive Labs, ensuring they are adequately supported and enhancements strategically planned for

• People leadership - you will lead and develop a team of 7 which includes - Management and Financial Accounts, Tax, Treasury and Payroll

You should apply if you have ​​(we know it’s tough, but please try to avoid the ​​confidence gap​.​​ You don’t have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role):

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA or comparable) with extensive post qualified experience

• Extensive experience of leading teams and developing talent, with the ability to delegate and manage effectively

• Demonstrable experience identifying deficiencies and implementing improvements

• Significant Controller level experience of Management and Financial reporting, including responsibility for leading the audit and completion of Statutory Accounts

• Systems experience - Netsuite, Salesforce, or similar

• Experience in a high growth, SaaS scale up organisation would be beneficial but is not essential
