Handshake is hiring a GTM Operations Manager reporting to the Senior Manager of Revenue Operations on the Education side of the business. In this role you will support the acceleration of growth in partnership with Sales and Customer Success for our Education partners. The right candidate will be able to influence and drive initiatives in collaboration with our Customer Success, Sales, Data, Finance and other operations teams.
This role will be responsible for managing strategic projects to improve productivity and efficiency of the Sales and Success organizations for our Education business. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, analytics, and Customer Success/Sales process. This person is curious, highly analytical and has a passion for storytelling with strong quantitative support. She/he will be responsible for delivering sales and customer data to identify growth drivers of the organization through thoughtful models, dashboards, and reporting packages. In addition, he/she will have experience with reporting tools and be detail oriented with a track record of leading end-to-end analytical projects in a rapidly-changing environment.
Your Role:- Work as a collaborative teammate to support customer retention, expansion and sales goals through data strategy, process improvement and reporting.
- Act as the primary business contact to proactively address cross-functional teams challenges, systems, data and tooling gaps.
- Evaluate and improve data quality, completeness, compliance, and cleanliness in Salesforce and other systems (e.g. completing data audits/uploads for discrepancies, using queries between systems to make data actionable throughout our systems of record, etc.)
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish long term roadmaps that streamline business processes and system workflows to improve team productivity (predominantly within Salesforce and Gainsight)
- Support overall EDU Operations activities, including ownership of requests through our EDU Operations help desk, deal closing support, and QBR/Executive reporting
- Drive alignment and clearly communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and mitigate risk while escalating blockers as needed
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across our EDU GTM and cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s Degree in/with coursework in an analytical field (e.g. Business Management, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics)
- 3+ years experience in a highly analytical role or in a similar role at a fast-growing company, ideally in Sales, Revenue or Customer Success Operations
- Advanced proficiency of and experience completing complex analysis in Excel and/or BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) with the ability to use SQL to manipulate data and an eagerness to continue developing these skills
- Experience maintaining integrations of GTM systems such as Salesforce, Gainsight, MixMax, Outreach, Marketo, etc.
- Salesforce experience building flows, using process builder/other automation, building complex dashboards, reports and custom report types, adjusting user permissions/ page layouts, etc. (Salesforce Certification not required, but a plus)
- Ability to understand, manipulate and translate large data sets with high degree of independence
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and ability to ramp quickly to new projects/challenges
- Proactive / Self-starter who is able execute with high-level guidance and minimal supervision
- Experience supporting GTM teams via processes in Deal Desk/CPQ and in implementing marketing tooling (e.g. Marketo) with sales workflows
- Experience working closely with senior leaders in a SaaS B2B business
- $97,750 - $130,000
For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
