Reports ToSenior Manager, Design Engineering
What You Will Be Doing- Design for cost reduction for ChargePoint's numerous EV charging platforms to ensure their continued successÂ
- Spearheading cost reductions
- Component and circuit qualification
- Test, characterize, and validate the functionality of full product when modified
- Coordination with key stakeholders in GSM, Design, Operations, Reliability, and Regulatory
- Strong electrical/electronic knowledge beginning at component and up through the system level
- Experience with a variety of processor platforms, peripheral devices, radios, and sensors
- Solid understanding of test processes
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in numerous areas from component selection to validation
- Ability to communicate effectively to cross-functional groups
- Must have a proven, successful record supporting complex hardware products in production
- 2+ years of experience minimum
- Strong organizational skills
- Must have good Technical Writing Skills - creating reports, process documents, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or related discipline.
