We are developing next generation wireless asset tracking solutions. The team develops high reliability hardware and systems to provide customers with real time location data for all of their high value assets. Our solution uses minimal infrastructure to track locations of assets combining machine learning and other localization techniques. We are currently tracking hundreds of thousands of assets and processing more than 2 million messages per day.

Our team has decades of experience developing electromechanical products for a variety of industries. There’s a plethora of expertise to draw from as a foundation for your budding career.

What You’ll Do

Our interns are given a project to own and complete during their time with us. You will have decades of experience to learn from and build your own skill set in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment. We work with each intern to assign a project that will challenge their skill set while also significantly contributing to Cognosos’s initiatives.

More about you

  • EE/CE/CS/ME major
  • Passionate about developing cutting edge products and services
  • Love getting your hands dirty with hardware and software
  • Lab experience working with O-scopes, power supplies, logic analyzers, etc.
  • Familiar with embedded systems and some protocols like UART, I2C, SPI
  • Python scripting or equivalent experience
  • Embedded C experience
  • Great communicator
  • Eager to learn and expand your skill set
