About the Role
We're seeking a dynamic Head of Accounting Partnerships to expand our network of accounting partners and build a robust partner program. This role is critical in driving the future growth of Rho and enhancing our ability to make finance frictionless for organizations through new customer acquisition. You will be responsible for fostering and nurturing new and existing relationships with accounting partners that are instrumental in acquiring new customers for Rho.
This person will be a strong collaborator both internally and externally, crafting a comprehensive strategy for our accounting partnership program. We need a strategist, equipped with a broad understanding of the industry and a successful history in architecting efficient partner programs. Your role demands an analytical acumen to analyze market trends and dexterity in discovering, evaluating, and amplifying partner relationships. A knack for successfully influencing executive decisions will be critical in propagating our team's vision.This is a key role within our partnership strategy, focusing on identifying and nurturing impactful relationships, engaging potential partners, and negotiating alliances that fuel substantial growth for Rho.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the Accounting Partnerships program, crafting and executing its overarching strategy to drive success.
- Pave the way for a new era within Rho by establishing and nurturing this innovative discipline, ensuring its initial triumph and long-term sustainability.
- Scout and prioritize partnership prospects that offer maximum value and advantage to Rho's objectives.
- Dive deep into product knowledge, understanding how accountants and bookkeepers will leverage Rho's offerings.
- Channel feedback on opportunities and pain points directly to the product team, refining Rho's features and delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Cultivate impactful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, championing pivotal team and organizational endeavors.
- Take the helm of cross-functional teams spanning product, engineering, design, legal, finance, and analytics, driving partner success and initiatives even without formal authority.
- Oversee the entire partner journey, from initial exploration and negotiations to partnership execution, launch, and ongoing relationship management.
- Pioneer new paradigms in partnership strategies, exploring innovative operational models and commercial approaches to foster market expansion and mutual advantages.
- Own full-spectrum relationships with key partners, maintaining executive-level connections and driving mutual growth.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in partnerships, business development, consulting, accounting, or sales/relationship
- Demonstrate a proven track record in cultivating strong bonds within strategic partners and effectively engaging with senior leadership within targeted organizations.
- Showcase extensive expertise in spearheading and steering successful accounting partnership initiatives.
- Exhibit adeptness in managing expansive, diverse, and strategically significant partner networks.
- Excel in spotting and nurturing fresh opportunities, encompassing strategy crafting, partner identification, product collaboration, and market implementation.
- Possess robust relationship management skills, fostering authentic and meaningful connections with partners.
- Navigate through ambiguous challenges with finesse, scaling solutions proficiently.
- Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, demonstrating high entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to excel with minimal guidance.
- Innately curious and skilled at identifying and addressing the needs of strategic partners.
- Communicate with clarity and purpose, whether in written or verbal forms.
- Energized by problem-solving and optimizing team productivity, while constantly refining products and processes.
- Collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams and departments, fostering a culture of effective teamwork and mutual growth.
Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $175,000 - $225,000. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits and paid time off.
