Role/Department: Head of Client Insights/HR Workforce Analytics

At Northern Trust, data drives all of our decision-making and HR is no exception. The HR Workforce Analytics team pioneers Northern Trust's approach to talent strategy and organizational growth. As a member of the team, this position will play an important role in helping our HR department address the people-related data and analytical needs of internal clients across the globe.

The Head of Client Insights North America is responsible for managing a team of technical and strategy professionals focused on delivering data-driven insights to global Business Unit leaders. The role requires a strong problem-solving approach for the co-creation of data tools and products, while also having excellent written and verbal communication skills for designing influential story-telling artefacts.

The role demands an innovative mindset in order to tackle complex client challenges, as well as a leader who thrives in an environment that embraces collaboration cross-functionally to scope, plan and execute projects on time.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a leader responsible for scaling the HR Client Insights function and training a group of professional focused on building new products and services aimed at unlocking talent opportunities across Northern Trust.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Consulting: Proactively communicate and collaborate with clients to ensure their core needs are addressed and implemented across internal business intelligence solutions and reporting artefacts • Product Co-Creation: Partner with Data Engineers to scope, conduct, and deliver data projects needed to support the HR Consulting Function while driving strategy and enhancements to key products • Process Improvement: Drive consistency in delivering data products to clients across different Business Units • Transformation: Influence and effect business process changes to support an efficient servicing and consulting environment• Driving Culture: Transform HR into a data-driven culture by executing a plan to maximize self-service analytics capabilities • Education: Share learnings and insights gathered from client consulting work through executive briefings, internal portals, and collaboration forums • Management: Develop a team of experts. Work to recruit, hire, onboard, retain, and provide career leadership for other passionate data professionals

Skills/ Qualifications:• 9+ years of overall experience and 5+ years of leading people and building high-performing teams that leverage technology to drive mission-critical priorities • 5+ years of demonstrable and practical experience in the Data and Analytics domain• 5+ years of experience as a consulting leader involved in stakeholder management, relationship development and delivery of client work• Experience developing data-driven presentations and delivering them to large audiences (Excel, Powerpoint and PowerBI)• Experience designing and implementing reporting solutions with strong data visualization skills

Self-starter looking to develop and apply analytical frameworks to help solve complex open-ended business questions with relevant data
