To support our ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced, energetic, and dynamic Head of Finance to join our team.

This leadership role is based in Istanbul, Türkiye, and reports directly to the Finance Director for the Middle East, Türkiye & Africa region, with a matrix reporting line to the Managing Director of KONE Türkiye & Kazakhstan.

About the Role

As the Head of Finance for Türkiye & Kazakhstan, you will play a key role in achieving KONE’s business objectives by providing strategic financial direction and support to stakeholders. You will oversee financial operations, ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting, and drive forecasting and budgeting processes. This role also includes leading a team of finance professionals and acting as a key contact for treasury, tax, and other financial matters across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Provide actionable insights and strategic guidance to drive business performance and decision-making.

• Partner with business stakeholders to align financial strategies with organizational objectives, focusing on customer-facing finance activities such as invoicing and collections.

• Contribute to strategic planning at the management team level to drive growth and operational efficiency.

Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals to achieve goals and prepare for future needs.

• Foster collaboration with internal and external finance units and partners.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure accurate and complete financial records for management and statutory purposes.

• Drive efficiency in end-to-end financial processes across Türkiye and Kazakhstan.

• Proactively identify and implement improvements in financial operations and business performance.

Are You the One?

We are looking for a finance leader who possesses:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance (essential).

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Head of Finance or similar role.

• Proven expertise in multinational companies and matrix organizations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Advanced knowledge of financial systems and tools, including ERP systems and data analytics platforms.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and geographies.

• A proactive approach to identifying and addressing opportunities for financial optimization.

• Experience in leading change management initiatives in a dynamic environment.

• Fluency in English; native in Turkish is a must.
