Head of Front-End Development Team

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Head of Front-End Development Team to lead our team in reimagining and re-platforming our legacy healthcare applications as modern, cloud-based solutions. This role will involve oversight of the front-end development process deployed on AWS, using cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and leadership to the front-end development team
• Lead the design and implementation of new software features using ReactJS and TypeScript
• Ensure consistent unified UI/UX experiences across our product suite
• Collaborate with product managers and other key stakeholders to define roadmaps and strategy
• Manage and optimize the deployment of applications to AWS environments
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness
• Navigate the configuration services to efficiently meet customer needs
• Monitor industry trends and new technologies that can enhance our solutions
• Regularly report on team progress and project milestones to senior management

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience, with proven expertise in front-end development
• 2+ years in leadership roles such as Senior, Lead, Manager, or Owner
• Proficiency in JavaScript and widely adopted front-end technologies including ReactJS and TypeScript
• Background in deploying applications on AWS
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams of 5+ FTEs across different projects
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and to specifications
• Familiarity with modern software development practices and the software development lifecycle
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Cloud
• Knowledge of additional cloud service platforms
• Proficiency in localization and configuration of products
