Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Create and refine marketing strategy to support Obie’s top-line objectives and further our mission
- Curate, manage, inspire, and coach a high-performing team of channel managers and specialists
- Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and drive acquisition strategies
- Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels
- Drive consistency in internal communications to align our internal brand voice
- Analyze the impact of marketing initiatives and share learnings with the leadership team
- Prioritize marketing projects and initiatives, allocating resources accordingly
- Regularly communicate status, projected performance, KPIs and ROI to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve messaging and positioning based on their insights to support growth and expansion targets
- Work closely with product, design and engineering teams on core product needs, product performance growth, and priorities aligned to customer insights and business cases
- Refine and expand marketing capabilities across mediums (SEO, PPC, content, podcasts, webinars, email, PR, and social)
- Accountable for industry event strategy, including ideation, sponsorship negotiation, logistics and on-site execution, using events as opportunity to generate leads and brand awareness by creating unique and memorable experiences
- Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies
- Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports
- Track competitor activities and identify opportunities to seize market share
- Elevate our brand and help create a highly-engaged community of landlords and real estate investors
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience; insurance experience preferred, bonus points for startups
- 5+ years of direct leadership experience with demonstrated success leading and motivating teams as well as managing cross-functional teams
- Experienced full-stack marketer with proven track record of scaling high-growth B2B, B2C, and/or SaaS businesses
- Demonstrable experience developing innovative brand positioning, creative direction, and design to drive business results
- Proven success in the design and implementation of successful marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of and proficiency in SEO, PPC, digital marketing tools and techniques, and web analytics
- You have the quantitative chops to define and assess marketing success, but also know when to stop analyzing and run with a fresh, creative idea that will engage our audience
- Strategic mindset and ability to make difficult decisions
- Experience scaling acquisition engines and driving company-wide marketing strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Experience managing annual budgets with targeted ROI metrics
- An execution-focused leader that is not afraid to take on the heavy lifting and lead by example when needed with a bias towards action
- Diligently curious, eager to engage deeply with the product and our customers to tease out the highest-impact growth opportunities
- Effective leader at managing change in a fast-moving and constantly evolving market
- Outstanding leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Track record of leading product marketing and brand management/marketing initiatives with business impact
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, SEMrush, leading digital ads platforms, Hubspot, Google Search Console, Salesforce, and other tools in the marketing stack
