Job Description
The selected candidate will report to Sales Director of MET Česká republika and will be responsible for generating business, acquiring and building CZ electricity portfolio, across all segments. He/she will also be responsible for product development, particularly towards green solutions like corporate PPAs and power offtake from renewables.
The candidate will act proactively in sourcing/analyzing business opportunities and approaching new customers, working closely with local portfolio management and central trading teams, with a goal to design attractive tailor-made solutions for CZ customers.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setting up electricity supply and origination activity, leading to growth business in the Czech Republic while keeping focus on risk mandate of local entity
- Supporting sales managers in customer acquisitions, helping to build a profitable portfolio of new clients/counterparts, while ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Monitoring and analyzing market competitors and business opportunities, from pure commodity sale to potential asset investment
- Working closely together with other team members on designing attractive tailor-made solutions for customers
- Planning and presenting reports on activity progress
Qualifications
- Master degree in Economics/Business Administration or Engineering
- 5+ years previous work experience in electricity sales/trading/origination
- Success in building and maintaining client relationships, achieving sales goals, especially in B2B sales, is a critical qualification.
- Deep knowledge of power pricing fundamentals, products and markets
- Contract negotiation skills, knowledge of energy legislation and market rules
- Entrepreneurial approach, business oriented and target driven, passionate for results
- Proficiency in Czech and English
