LastPass is looking for a Head of Product Marketing:

The Head of Product Marketing for LastPass will lead a team to be the voice of the LastPass products, responsible for leading our product marketing initiatives with a focus on crafting compelling messaging and positioning for our platform evolution. This role will play a key role in spearheading the development and implementation of a cohesive go-to-market strategy, ensuring our product's unique value proposition is clearly communicated to our target audience, and aligning all marketing efforts to drive demand, adoption, and customer success. Your team will own positioning and messaging for category creation, and work closely on an aligned go-to-market strategy with stakeholders from product management, marketing, sales, and technology partners to drive business and market success.

Who will you work with?

You will partner with the Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop targeted messaging, positioning and go-to-market strategy to create awareness, demand, and adoption for LastPass and our evolving roadmap.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

  • Develop and refine the product positioning and messaging framework to support the current and future multi-product vision that differentiates our platform evolution in the market, establishing a new category in unified credential management.
  • Create a highly differentiated go-to-market strategy with key stakeholders to strengthen our market leadership across all sales segments, leading cross-functional teams in the strategic planning and execution, including market analysis, segmentation, and targeting.
  • Collaborate closely with product management to align messaging with product capabilities and roadmap, ensuring a seamless customer experience from awareness to adoption.
  • Establish and track key metrics and success criteria for marketing initiatives and product performance tied to revenue targets.
  • Foster strong relationships with industry analysts, influencers, and partners to amplify our market presence and credibility.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the product marketing team, nurturing talent and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation.
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across Product, IT, Dev, Sales, CS, and Marketing to execute on GTM and growth strategies, particularly in how products are brought to market
  • Spearhead market and competitive intelligence initiatives to sharpen 'where to play' and 'how to win' decisions
  • Lead market research, analysis and validation to understand evolving trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs. Help channel these insights to guide our product and marketing strategies, ensuring we develop and offer solutions that truly resonate with our customers , effectively addressing their challenges and contributing to their success.
  • Develop playbooks and assets and work collaboratively with sales enablement to increase sales productivity and reinforce learnings
  • Help plan and launch new offerings, capabilities and releases to the market.
  • Serve as an industry evangelist & thought leader by blogging, engaging with social media, analysts, and speaking at customer & industry events

What does it take to work at LastPass?

  • Progressive experience in product marketing within the B2B technology sector and experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful go-to-market strategies for technology products, ideally in creating or defining new categories.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology concepts in clear, compelling ways.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering innovation, accountability, and a shared sense of purpose.
  • Deep understanding of the B2B technology landscape, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $205,000 in the lowest geographic market and up to $230,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
