POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Oncology Medical Director at HFCI, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the strategic direction of our institute while continuing to excel in a clinical capacity. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of cancer care in our community, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the highest standards of patient-centered excellence. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and dedicated oncologist to leave a lasting impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide exceptional clinical care to patients in the field of Hematology/Oncology.
• Lead the successful implementation of HFCI’s strategic plan, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Foster collaboration across departments, unifying stakeholders around a shared vision.
• Mentor and support new clinical providers to promote growth and excellence within the team.
• Champion a patient-centered approach to care, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compassion.
• Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, integrity, and compassion in all interactions, creating an environment of trust and empathy.
• Contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Board-certified in Hematology/Oncology.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with prior Medical Director experience.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing strategic plans.
• Strong mentoring and leadership skills, supporting the growth of fellow clinical providers.
• Communicative leadership style, that emphasizes teamwork and open dialogue. 
• Commitment to patient-centered care and a dedication to maintaining high-quality standards.
