Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, HRBP in Wilmington, this individual is responsible for supporting the Wilmington, OH HR team.

Key Result Areas:

HR and Talent Acquisition Support

  • Responsible for overseeing and arranging New Hire onboarding and New Hire Orientation schedule, including the orchestration of presentations, manager lunch appointments and new hire social activities.
  • Provides support to HR Business Partners for the termination process by preparing termination packages as requested, including (as required) separation agreement, final benefit calculations, unemployment process instructions and COBRA information. Will process terminations in HRIS and update HRIS as required otherwise.
  • Assist the HRBP's with daily transaction changes including supervisor changes, title changes, and promotions / adjustments; ensure accuracy of organizational and reporting structures both in HRIS and in hard copy Org Charts for audit readiness.
  • Manage employee documents of record.
  • Will work with the HRBP's on research for projects, data audits, reporting needs and support on key presentations.
  • Assists HR Team with customer-related issues as first point of HR contact, fielding employee requests and routing to appropriate team member, and/or researching response for review before responding to employee directly.
  • Liaise with US Benefits, US Leaves and Accommodations, and US Payroll for employee-related questions, monitoring, communication, and program implementation. Point of contact for employee wellness initiatives on site.
  • Serve as Key Functional Representative for Alkermes POs; act as department liaison for contract submission and follow-through (Agiloft).
  • Support Wilmington Talent Acquisition Team through liaison with Recruiting Associates for on-site interview scheduling and facilitation; generating offer letters in ORC with oversight from TA.

HR Compliance:

  • Maintaining compliance with the Federal government by ensuring I-9's are completed by both the employee and Alkermes within specified time frames
  • Maintains and updates required labor postings and displays
  • Proactively seeks knowledge and expertise in the HR environment, as well as general business trends and practices
  • Manages work to ensure all deliverables are met on a timely and quality basis, according to Alkermes standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Two or more years of experience in HR Administrative functions
  • Fundamental knowledge of global HR regulations; awareness of HR trends and best practices regarding governance
  • Ability to discover and see compliance risks that may arise and raise with HR leadership for action
  • Experience managing relationships with internal stakeholders across departments (e.g., legal, finance)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and demonstrated ability to learn new technology systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and strong organizational skills
