Summary
This position is located in U.S. Capitol Visitor Center (CVC), Office of Planning, Operations and Evaluation Division (POE).
You will serve as the primary point of contact to Managers and employees of the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), Capitol Visitors Center (CVC) being responsible for handling general human resources activities, providing guidance, advice, proactive customer service and operational support.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

Candidates for the GS-13Â grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.

Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Applying HR concepts, principles, policies, and regulations in providing analysis, interpretation, application, and modification of HR policies and programs.
- Providing expert and authoritative advice and guidance to address a wide-range of HR issues within multiple HR functional areas including but not limited to staffing and recruitment, performance management, employee relations, work-life balance, executive resources, etc.
- Leading and championing HR programs and program improvement projects on human capital programs.
