HVAC Technician

Job Summary TemperturePro San Jose is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge and experience in service technician roles. This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and light commercial properties. The HVAC Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their systems operate efficiently and effectively. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, air conditioners, and heating units. • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment. • Troubleshoot issues by interpreting schematics and using diagnostic tools. • Perform appliance repairs related to HVAC systems as needed. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their HVAC needs. • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure optimal system performance. • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology. Requirements • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and technical manuals. • Familiarity with appliance repair techniques related to heating and cooling systems. • Knowledge of plumbing principles as they relate to HVAC installations. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. • Certification or licensure in HVAC is preferred but not mandatory.
