Job Description: The essential functions of the HVAC Service Technician are to provide general HVAC repair, service or Installations. This position handles service and Install calls to customers in their homes and commercial businesses and utilizes customer service training to educate and assist customers in choosing service, products and finance options. Job Duties: • Apply local HVAC codes in a practical manner on each job. • Work with inspectors, suppliers and co-worker technicians to ensure correct project work while abiding by all codes. • Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, the parts department and the installation team. • Keep your truck inventory up to date. • Properly complete paperwork. • You will need to be on call occasionally. • Maintain a clean and professional appearance so you don’t scare customers away. • Because you will be driving our trucks, we need you to have and maintain a clean driving record. • You should have the proper certifications.
