HVAC Warranty Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Warranty Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems that fall under manufacturer or company warranty. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems that are under warranty • Verify warranty coverage based on job records and manufacturer guidelines • Complete accurate documentation of services performed and parts used • Coordinate with internal departments to schedule and complete warranty calls • Communicate with customers regarding service needs and warranty details • Process warranty claims and return defective parts per policy • Stay informed on HVAC technology updates and manufacturer bulletins • Maintain service tools, company vehicle, and inventory • Ensure all work is performed safely and up to code Requirements: • High school diploma or GED (required) • HVAC certification or completion of technical training program (preferred) • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC service or warranty work • EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal) • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Working knowledge of HVAC systems and controls • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Working Conditions: • Residential • May involve working in tight spaces, rooftops, or varying weather conditions • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor • Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with specific HVAC brands or systems • Familiarity with digital diagnostic tools and mobile work order platforms • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus If you're ready to take your career to the next level in a supportive family environment, apply today to join the Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning team!
