IBP, Innovation & Integration Leader

Purpose of Role

The Demand and Innovation Leader primary role is to manage the end-to-end supply chain network, to meet consumer and customer service objectives, whilst delivering Category balanced S&OP with markets, Innovation planning and New Brands Integration to enable profitable growth.

Perform medium to long term capacity planning and recommend solutions to possible imbalances for new developments.

Understand liquid long-term requirements and needs, to ensure supply readiness and integration in Supply Planning operation.

This role is the main connection with the markets, working across commercial, innovation, strategy, finance, planning, operations and logistics to support Tequila business needs and goals.

Top Accountabilities

Drive Demand IBP Process

Lead and facilitate the four key reviews and accountable for ensuring underlying process's meet review expectations and support effective decision making.

• Innovation Review (PMR) - Category, GBT and I&BC leadership to review the tequila portfolio and actions to support delivery innovation pipeline and category ambition.

Segmentation and Prioritization for Tequila portfolio - Adopt process to systemize segmentation and prioritization.

• Demand Review - IBP managers and Planning directors review to confirm translation of demand signal, anticipate trends and ensure actions and improvement plans in place to deliver service and mitigate excess inventory. Scenario planning to support Opps and Risks
• Supply Review - Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing and Finance Manager's and directors. End to end review of holistic Tequila supply to ensure effective management of production and supply whilst balancing Net fill, Balance sheet increases and Operating cash conversion.
• Global and Market Exec Review (MBR) - Category Head and Planning director S&OP sign off review. Escalation management and decision-making forum with supply leadership
• Global S&OE - Integrate Performance Management into IBP process
• Continuous improvement of S&OP and IBP process for the category to shape process against dynamic external conditions.

• Benchmark current S&OP process with other categories and global team for simplification (meetings, agenda, participants, prework) to move from a review meeting to a decision/alignment meeting.
• Influence and collaborates efficiently with market to have clear building blocks, understand depletions trend, SIT, improve bias, incorporate scenario planning.
• Responsible for weekly and monthly demand reporting including KPIs, monthly calls, risk assessments, sku exceptions.

• Lead and develop twice per year 10Year forecast jointly with markets and connect with Long Term Capacity and Agility Strategy

• Confirm long term liquid C/D capacity requirements and constrains

Lead Innovation supply readiness

• Develop and update Tequila Innovation pipeline, readiness and risk management.
• Activate innovation performance tracking to identify any gap vs outlook and define if kill or cure.
• Link with Innovation to strengthen speed and support of new product launch
• Work collaboratively with Production Site Management and production schedulers to deliver market requirements.
• Address any supply disruption or conflict situation through consensus solution or recommendation for escalation.
• Responsible to identify risks and/or opportunities to the overall supply plan and execute necessary changes & communicate effectively to key stakeholders

Portfolio Harmonization

• Develop and lead assessment for Finish Goods portfolio harmonization (opportunities across markets)
• Activate portfolio performance tracking to identify any gap vs outlook and define if kill or cure.
• Develop and lead assessment for Dry Goods Harmonization (opportunities across Product Lines)
• Stablish Golden Rules for Dry Goods Portfolio Maintenance

Qualifications and Experience Required

Skills and Capabilities

• Customer centric mind set (internal and external to Diageo)
• Hands-on experience in (Category) S&OP, exposure to Executive senior leaders. Leadership influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficient understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes; Supply Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning, Inventory Planning, Conversion, Logistics, Procurement and Customer Service
• Demonstrated proficiency in statistics and/or forecasting methodologies with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
• Strong knowledge in PMO, Process Improvement and Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical, organizational and decision making skills
• Good communication skills - verbal, written and presentation.
• Proficient in MS applications e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
• English 100% Fluid

Experience

• +5-7 years Supply Chain Network (Planning, Distribution, Customer Service) experience in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry preferred
• Experience working in category planning function preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in appropriate supply chain, mathematical, engineering, or business degree.
• APICS CPIM / CSCP or equivalent desirable.
