Northrop Grumman's Missions Systems is seeking a Verification Engineer for behavioral modeling to enable full-chip functional verification.
Overview:
The Electrical Devices and Integrated Circuit group at Northrop Grumman Corporation delivers full-custom ICs to provide the core functionality of our Advanced Multifunction Sensor products that are used in Radar, EW & Other application. These ICs are mixed signal devices with content that spans RF, Analog, and Digital signal domains. The top-level simulations will also include synthesizable RTL code. Frequently encountered functions to model include, but are not limited to ADCs, DACs, temperature sensors, multiplexer, demultiplexer, regulator, signal attenuator, phase shifter, HPAs and LNAs.
What You Will Do:
- Develop behavioral models for analog, RF and IO blocks common to RFICs, ROICs, up/down converters, filters and regulator chips
- Develop the top-level simulation environment for an individual chip and multi-chip systems using the Virtuoso and Xcelium tools from Cadence.
- Be open to learning all aspects of a chip (RF, analog, IO & Digital) and developing behavioral model, capable of simultaneously supporting multiple unique designs in a dynamic environment and be a self-starting with strong communication skills.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or any relevant STEM degree
- 5 + years of relevant experience, OR Masters degree and 3 years of experience
- Familiar with Virtuoso, Specter/ADE tools from Cadence, RTL language
- A working knowledge of Verilog, Verilog AMS, System Verilog and/or VHDL.
- Capable of developing models from block diagrams and schematic inspection.
- Capable of working with multiple design teams.
- Capable of obtaining and maintaining a Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with analog, RF, or digital IC design at the transistor level
- Current security clearance or eligibility
Salary Range: $96,900.00 - $145,300.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to basepay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO)for vacation and/orpersonal business.
