Immediate Care - Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)

Adventist Health Columbia Gorge has an outstanding opportunity for a per diem Advanced Practice Provider to join our Immediate Care team to work live and play in the scenic Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. Located 85 miles east of Portland in the majestic Columbia River Gorge, The Dalles features old-growth forests, rushing waterfalls, and year-round access to outdoor recreation, including downhill and cross-country skiing, world-class water sports, and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. The clinician that fills this role will provide clinical services within the scope of practice of his/her specialty and in alignment with the Adventist Health Mission Statement.

Minimum Education, Training & Experience (includes licenses or certifications):

• Active Licensed PA or NP in the state of Oregon (Master's Degree required for PA)
• Board Eligible or Certified in area of their specialty
• Current DEA License
• BLS

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Positive and highly collaborative interpersonal and communication skills with provider colleagues, patients, families, and the community.
• Willingness and ability to expand and maintain clinical competence in the specialty field, working closely with highly competent primary care, specialty medical and surgical care.
• Experience with electronic health records. EPIC electronic health record experience a plus.

Practice & Hospital:

• Adventist Health Columbia Gorge is a non-profit 49-bed, Level III trauma center
• Immediate Care is open 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM 365 days of the year and is located at our Water's Edge Building overlooking the beautiful Columbia River. Easy access from I-84.
• Registered Nursing on staff and x-ray available on site.
• Walk in appointments.
