Job Description
ID5 enables addressable and measurable advertising to support the growth of the digital economy and provide free and safe access to content and services. Technical changes, signal loss, and increasingly more stringent data protection regulations require new, advanced technologies that enable audience addressability while respecting people’s privacy preferences.
ID5 has risen to this challenge and developed solutions that support publishers’ and marketers’ need for better addressability. Its laser focus on Identity sets it apart from competitive solutions and enables the company to offer the most advanced and sophisticated identity services to over 100,000 media properties, and hundreds of technology platforms and advertisers, making it the most adopted identity solution in the market.
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Implementation Architect with 10+ years of adtech experience to join our team, reporting to the Product organization. This role combines deep technical integration expertise with a strong pre-sales focus, driving the successful deployment of ID5’s identity solutions across diverse client environments.
The Implementation Architect will engage with both prospects and existing clients, working closely with our Commercial/Sales, Solutions Consulting, and Product teams to design tailored solutions that align client technology stacks with ID5’s offerings. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity to shape and evolve ID5's approach to sales engineering and technical implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Client and Partner Engagement: Collaborate with clients, from frontline teams to executives, to establish clarity around the “how” and “when” of ID5’s integration within their systems and identify cross sell/upsell opportunities together with the sales team.
- Pre-Sales Solution Design: Lead technical walkthroughs, host discovery sessions, and assess client needs during Sales and RFP stages, ensuring alignment on solutions, integration mechanics, and technical architectures.
- Integration Planning: Create detailed architecture diagrams, integration timelines, and testing plans to set partnerships up for success. Identify and address any gaps between client needs and ID5’s solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Commercial/Sales, Solutions Consulting, and Product teams to ensure seamless delivery of complex solutions and client onboarding experiences.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of Sales Engineering processes, offering insights to enhance efficiency across teams and the overall client experience.
- Technical Support and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, provide ongoing troubleshooting support, and collaborate with Product Marketing to build competitive analyses and inform product collateral.
- Webinars and Presentations: Host webinars for prospects and clients on key differentiators, lead technical demonstrations, and create partnership-specific materials, such as RFIs, security questionnaires, and presentations.
- Industry Expertise: Stay informed on product developments, competitors, and industry trends to maintain expertise and serve as a resource for both clients and internal teams.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years in adtech, specifically in systems integration, technology consulting, or pre-sales/solutions engineering. Experience with programmatic media, ad platforms, publishers, or advertising technology is essential.
- Technical Depth: Strong understanding of web architecture, infrastructure environments, and IAM principles. Familiarity with client-server roles, RESTful APIs, OAuth, and web integration technologies.
- Project Management Skills: Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, along with the ability to handle timelines, prioritize tasks, and manage concurrent technical integrations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passion for Learning and Collaboration: A growth mindset with a team-first approach, vital for success in our dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent deals, maintain focus on strategic priorities, and organize technical integration details efficiently.
- Preferred Qualifications: Degree in a technical field and experience with technical demonstrations, programmatic media buying, and systems thinking.
