Czinger is currently seeking a highly-skilled, experienced Indirect procurement buyer to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for building and managing an indirect supply base, category management, and fostering partnerships to fulfill growing company and production needs. This professional will lead negotiations to close deals with optimal terms and maintain our internal timelines, sourcing indirect materials, equipment, and services.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards
- Contract Negotiations Based on Milestones
- Execute Global Indirect Purchasing Strategy within operating departments.
- Responsible for building and managing an indirect supply base, category management, and fostering partnerships to fulfill growing company and production needs.
- Procure of goods and services: CAPEX MRO/Temporary Labor, General Services, Software and Equipment, Consumables, Real estate, etc.
- Identifying opportunities to minimize costs whenever possible
- Manage suppliers for good performance
- Develop and maintain KPI
- Request for quotations (RFQ's)
- Coordination and expediting of purchasing orders
- Blanket Purchase Orders (BPO) direct and indirect.
- Maintaining appropriate inventory levels
- Track and monitor shipments and communicate status to key partner
Experience
- Skilled at negotiation and building relationships with partners
- Experience 2-5 years of purchasing in Automotive or Aerospace
- Proficient in using and managing relevant modules of Oracle ERP
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communications, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven working experience in sourcing and supplier management
- Interest in market dynamics, along with a keen business sense
Education
- Bachelor's degree, Industrial Engineer or equivalent experience.
