Industrial Spray Finisher (No Building or Home Painters)

We are looking for someone who can effectively manage multiple projects at one time, enjoys collaborating with professionals from all departments, and brings their smile to work every day. Responsibilities and Duties The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in painting in a production environment. Ideal candidates will have the ability to prime and paint various substrates. Knowledge of Pantone color matching is a plus. Experience with various forms of painting is a plus. Candidates will be expected to maintain a clean work area. Candidates will be required to prep material for painting, maintain paints, mix paint formulas, and keep tools clean and organized. Candidates will be asked to work overtime as needed. Required Skills • 5+ Years of Experience in Painting • Dependability and Attendance • High Attention to Details • Ability to Work in Fast-Paced Work Environments • Ability to Lift and Carry at Least 50 lbs. • Works Well Alone and in a Team • Able to Follow Verbal and Written Instructions • Computer Literacy • Paint Preparation for Metal, Plastic, & Wood Materials • Experience with Matthews Paint Systems • Experience with Painting Several Material Types • 5+ Years Experience in Painting Signs & Displays If the following describes you, we want to hear from you! • Industry Experience: Prior experience in architectural or themed products, auto body spray painting, or similar industry is highly preferred; house/residential painting is not considered related. • Technical Skills: 5+ years’ experience with spraying techniques, HVLP, single stage coating; knowledge of Matthews paint system is a plus. • Time and Priority Management: Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Team Collaboration: Happy to work with professionals from all departments. • Attention to Detail: Someone who is flexible, even-tempered, and detail-oriented is a must! • Reliability: Reliably getting to work every day on time is necessary. • Sense of Humor and Communication Skills: Maintain a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Pride in Work: Take ownership of your role and responsibilities.
