Self Regional Healthcare is currently looking for a full time infectious disease physician for our program.  We have 24 full-time hospitalists that can support an ID physician.

Facilities:  Self Regional Healthcare is 358-bed hospital.  We have 30 critical care beds in our ICU and a 32-bed step down unit. 

Partnership:  Under the vision and guidance of Dr Logan our CEO, Self Regional Healthcare is now a part of a 3 hospital system that also includes Edgefield County Healthcare located in Edgefield, SC and Abbeville Area Medical Center located in Abbeville, SC.  Self Regional Healthcare serves a seven county catchment area that includes:  Edgefield County, Saluda County, McCormick County, Greenwood County, Newberry County, Abbeville County, and Laurens County.

Not-For-Profit:  Our hospital is a not-for-profit organization that is locally managed and is eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program for student loans.

Community:  Greenwood is a great town located in the heart of the Lakelands of South Carolina.  We have Lake Greenwood, Lake Russell, Lake Secession, Lake Thurmond all within a stone’s throw.  Each year we celebrate the Flower Festival and also enjoy the Festival of Discovery which is a barbecue festival and competition featuring outstanding competitors from all over the country.  Our downtown area is called Uptown Greenwood and features the widest main street in the US. We would love for you to come and visit us to get to know our community a little bit better.  Greenwood is home to Lander University and Presbyterian College is adjacent in Laurens County. 

ICU:  We have an open ICU with an intensivist service

EMR:  Epic.  Dragon dictation.

Academics:  Self Regional Healthcare has a very established Family Medicine Residency, tied for first place in the nation with Kaiser Permanente Family Medicine Residency in San Diego for a 5 year rolling.  Self Regional Healthcare also has a Pharmacy Residency as well.  Additionally, there are teaching opportunities to be able to precept students at the Presbyterian College PA Program and the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine medical students as well.
