Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) is a 430-bed acute care hospital in East Meadow, New York.  NUMC is Nassau County’s premiere Level 1 Trauma Center with a state-of-the-art Burn Center. It is a tertiary care teaching hospital with a fully accredited Internal Medicine Residency Training Program. Dept. of Medicine at NUMC is recruiting an ID Clinician for ID Consult Service and for our Designated AIDS Center clinics. The applicants should be BE/BC in Infectious Diseases. Fellows are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have an interest in Antibiotic Stewardship and Infection Control. Responsibilities include Inpatient Consultations, Clinic Sessions, Quality Improvement Initiatives. ID service has two other ID attending physicians, an NP and ID Clinical Pharmacist.
