Job Description
- Inpatient psychiatry coverage Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm. Unit bed capacity is 24 patients, staffed by 2 psychiatrists and one advanced practice provider.
- Typical caseload of 8-12 patients.
- Population includes adults 18+ requiring inpatient psychiatric hospitalization including both voluntary and involuntary patients.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, advance practice providers, social workers, nurses, and activity therapists.
- Internal medicine and other specialist consultants available on request.
- No mandatory on call. Additional moonlighting hours are available if desired.
