Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery
The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) at UCSF seeks fellowship-trained clinicians in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery. Microvascular reconstruction is preferred but not required. UCSF has a strong history of clinical excellence, innovative research, and multidisciplinary care. The Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at Mission Bay provides an outstanding setting for surgical, inpatient, and outpatient management, and we continue to expand within the Bay Area.
Surgeons at all levels (Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor) are encouraged to apply. The position may be at the Instructor level in the Adjunct or HS Clinical series or at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, or In-Residence series.
Locations may include UCSF’s Mission Bay, Mount Zion, or Parnassus campuses, with possible clinic time at satellite offices.
Qualifications:
- MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree.
- Completion of an accredited Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency.
- Completion of an AHNS-accredited Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery fellowship.
- Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.
- Must obtain a California medical license by the time of hire.
- All requirements must be met by the start date.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay based on rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The base salary range is $130,200 - $393,200. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, providing eligibility for additional compensation.
