The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Integration Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Providing technical leadership for developing and maintaining the company's integrations/middleware application portfolio. This will include project management, development leadership, architecture, communication of project status, escalation of issues, quality assurance, preparation for deployment and support plans.
• Collaborating with other technical and application teams and enterprise architects to ensure application initiatives support and align with corporate architecture and integration strategies
• Developing & providing technical subject matter expertise, and assists in identifying & defining technical development standards, guidelines, strategies and best practices
• Leading or participating in defining, maintaining and implementing crisis management, application support and disaster recover strategies and related architecture or infrastructure requirements
• Creating and maintaining relevant technical documentation
• Leading or participating in system administration activities, such as installation of software, patches and updates, licensing, performance and capacity tuning, configuration and troubleshooting, as needed

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
• Five (5) years of progressive IT experience designing and developing integrations/middleware solutions and platforms in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience with webMethods components including broker, Universal Messaging and other components including recommended architecture.
• Strong proficiency in integration/middleware development concepts and technologies, standards and architectures
• Strong knowledge of database tools, technologies and concepts (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase, SQL)
• Strong experience in Linux operating systems, scripting and related tools and technologies
• Strong Java/J2EE application programming experience
• Experience with Mulesoft design, development and implementation concepts
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and ability to think "outside the box"
• A high degree of professionalism and integrity
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication, reporting and presentation skills
• Strong customer interaction, organizational and time management skills

Work location: Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

The expected compensation range for this position is $133,435 - $163,088, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
