About The Internship 

As a Product Development, Beauty & Wellness Intern, you will have a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in regulatory and formula compliance within Beauty Product Development, working closely with the team and cross-functional partners on impactful projects. You have the chance to immerse yourself in the raw material selection and review process here at goop, contributing to our team's success while honing your skills in Product Development. This role is perfect for motivated individuals seeking to explore their passion for regulatory, compliance, and product development, develop new competencies, and lay the groundwork for a successful career journey. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Support the Product Development team with regulatory and formula compliancy needs. This includes requesting proper raw material/ingredient documentation from raw material suppliers and contract manufacturers, receiving raw material documentation, and organizing documentation. 
• Screen received regulatory documentation against formulation guidelines (with support from PD team) to ensure compliance. 
• Manage the raw material tracker for portfolio of formulas, including updating the audit status for each raw material.  
• Create a raw material supplier database including a functional summary of all the raw material suppliers we work with, along with their respective sales contacts.  
• The internship will be part-time (16-20 hours/week) and run from September 10th – December 13th . Students must be eligible to receive school credit and provide supporting documentation.  

Qualifications & Experience 

• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergrad or master’s degree program, science majors preferred, pharma or cosmetic majors a plus. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. 
• Familiarity with or experience in Product Development and/or the beauty/wellness industry.
