Job Title: OPEX Data Analytics Intern
Location: Perth Distribution Centre (On-site)
We are seeking a Data Analytics Intern to join our team at the Perth Distribution Centre. The intern will be responsible for supporting data-driven decision-making processes and contributing to various projects aimed at improving efficiency, safety, and quality. This is an on-site position, and the intern must be able to work at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Utilize Excel formulas and macros to analyze and interpret data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Assist in the implementation and management of data systems, including Access and SQL databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data-related needs and opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members to drive awareness of data insights and project milestones.
• Perform all job functions with adherence to company values and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or returning to an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Experience using Excel formulas and macros.
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Knowledge of Access and SQL is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a data analytics or related role.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and practices.
Position Criteria:
- Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
- This position does not offer relocation assistance.
- Efficient and effective communication skills (verbal and typed)
- Strong computer skills and high proficiency in Microsoft applications
