Job Description:

About the Role:

The Analyst, Application Developer under broad supervision, designs, develops, modifies, debugs, unit tests programs for multiple functional areas. Development will include interface and integration work between Blue Yonder SCPO/ABPP applications and SAP tools. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Troubleshoots and solves problems including those escalated by less experienced team members. May assist coaching/training of less experienced team members.

You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Functional Analysis: Understand functional requirements. Collaborate in the root cause analysis of incidents through various analytical techniques. Collaborate on Return-on-Investment opportunities.
• Functional Design: Design functional solutions that enable process change, continuous improvement and competitive advantage. Document design through using functional specifications. Collaborate with IT partners to ensure that functional designs are appropriately translated into technical designs.
• Technical Analysis: Using a variety of analytical techniques, determine and document technical requirements through researching and analyzing problems, planning and modeling possible solutions and recommending software. Identify and address root causes of system problems.
• Technical Design: Assist with design and document technical solutions for systems with multiple integration points, multiple functions and/or unique logic requirements that are effective and efficient.
• Construct / Implement /Test: Deliver solutions that are contemporary and in accordance with company guidelines. Design and execute functional unit, scenario and system integration test plans. Assigned to multiple Projects/Initiatives at a time. May assist with project planning.
• Incident / Problem Management: Conduct effective investigation, diagnosis and root cause analysis of incidents / problems. Develop, implement and document solutions in a timely manner and validate with system users that service has been restored.
• Change Control: Conduct proper urgency, impact and risk assessment of change requests. Plan, schedule, implement and document changes in accordance with Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes.

About You:

You'll fit right in if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or a related field is required. A master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Requires 3 - 5 years Information Technology / position related experience.
• Knowledge and experience of key tools within respective area.
• Knowledge and experience of core competencies within respective area, preferably within Consumer Products or Manufacturing industries.
• Exchanges standard/basic technical or nontechnical information with colleagues and immediate superiors and/or customers.
• Required to interpret or clarify basic technical information to aid understanding.
• In some instances, will need to convey information to audiences not knowledgeable of the subject matter.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience with Blue Yonder SaaS/Cloud environments.
• Experience with database development against SQLServer, Oracle and/or DB2.
• Understands and applies the principles and practices in a specialized field requiring extensive academic preparation.
• Understands and applies knowledge of standardized rules, procedures, and operations within own area.
• Uses previous experience to identify most appropriate solutions or improve defined procedures.
