IT Engineer

Beyond Finance is adding an IT Engineer to the our team with experience in supporting a hybrid work environment. You will have experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure,  SaaS applications, and fleet-wide deployments. Our IT Engineering team is not a front-end support role. You'll be in the weeds doing advanced administration, scripting, and root-cause analysis skills in a non-Microsoft environment.  If you are a motivated IT professional with a passion for technology and a desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Advanced administration of Google Workspace, Slack, and a large suite of SaaS tooling
• Utilizing logs and other tools to investigate Application and Network issues (Wireshark, 1E, Windows Event logs, software agent logs)
• Configuring SSO apps and working with SAML, ODIC, and SCIM.
• Ability to write scripts to automate tasks (Python, Powershell, Bash, CLI, etc.)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, DevOps, and DevSecOps to resolve issues and complete organization-impacting projects.
• Support Windows and Mac devices for issues escalated to Tier 3 level
• Work on projects across multiple tools, including maintaining tools and onboarding new tools.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to solutions that improve system reliability and performance.
• Patch Management, & Network administration

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in Desktop Support or Network Operations
• At least 3 years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and SaaS applications.
• Technical knowledge of IDPs, SSO, MFA, and LDAP.
• Familiarity with a SASE/Zero Trust VPN and DLP tooling is a plus
• Technical knowledge of networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VOIP, and VPN.
• Understanding of IT security best practices and experience implementing security solutions.
• Experience with Google Workplace, Slack, Cloudflare, Palo Alto, and Aruba
• Basic automation and scripting experience in a Windows and Mac environment
• Self-starter, capable of delivering projects to completion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
