IT Intern

The Generative AI (ChatGPT) Internship Program at Centria Healthcare provides college/university students with valuable professional experience and insight into how Artificial Intelligence & Generative AI can be applied to the Healthcare industry. The IT Intern will contribute to a range of projects on implementing ChatGPT (and other AI technologies –DALL·E 2, Jasper.io, etc.) to clinical, marketing, sales, field operations, and other business functions. Centria’s goal over the summer is to learn how generative AI can transform our processes, clinical supervision note-taking, marketing campaigns, etc. The IT Intern will help to program/teach the AI to write clinical supervision notes, ABA articles, summaries, and captions, create marketing campaigns, and draft sales messaging in our voice and towards driving new audiences and new revenue opportunities. The intern will work directly with Centria’s senior leadership teams on testing, trialing, and implementing generative AI throughout the business. They will be a part of a team that works every day to make a positive impact through innovation in the pursuit of Centria’s mission.

Success measures include adherence to Centria policies, flawless execution of tasks, a timely, positive customer service experience for team members, and a high level of compliance.

• Collaborate with the Executive Team to develop and implement AI algorithms for various applications, including clinical supervision notes recommendation, marketing/blog content recommendations and creation, marketing SEO, and sales messages.
• Conduct research on the latest AI techniques and algorithms and propose new ideas to improve the performance of Centria’s AI implementation.
• Work with the clinical team to collect and preprocess data for AI model training and testing.
• Evaluate and analyze the performance of AI models and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Create an IT architecture model for an implementation using Azure.
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned.

University freshmen, sophomore, or junior in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

• Must be completing undergraduate program in computer science or related field
• Previous internship experience or knowledge in healthcare IT applications, preferred

• Working knowledge of laptop/desktop PC
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)
• Proficiency in G Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Google Meet)

• Ability to follow written instructions
• Ability to use computers and computer/software programs
• Ability to communicate expressively and receptively

• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to work well in teams
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Willing to work in a hybrid model (min 10 hours, max 15 hours per week)

• Centria's office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Additional time may be required to complete the above work or meet company objectives.

While performing the duties of this job, physical requirements such as bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 30 pounds may be required. This role will require sitting most of the day as well as walking and standing periodically. This
role may require close visual acuity on computer screens or monitors and the ability to analyze data and figures on a screen.
