IT Intern

Overview:

TraceLink is seeking an IT intern that will assist the IT Service Desk with day-to-day operations and special projects.  This dynamic environment will provide the individual with a wide variety of technologies and solutions in a high-growth, global, cloud-first company.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

·         Build and deploy Windows and Mac laptops for end users

·         Peripheral setup for office cubicles (Monitors, Docking Stations, Keyboards, Mice)

• DoD Wipe Returned Laptops & log in asset inventory

·         Interaction with end users to troubleshoot IT issues via ticket system

·         Create user accounts in Active Directory & SaaS systems

·         Other tasks as assigned

·         Strong documentation skills

·         Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required

·         Ability to absorb and retain information quickly

·         Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language

·         Highly self-motivated and directed

·         Keen attention to detail

·         Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highly dynamic, fast changing, and fluid work environment

·         Strong customer service orientation

·         Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

·         Knowledge of basic computer hardware

·         Experience with Windows 10 and MacOS

·         Basic knowledge of office productivity applications (MS Office/Office 365, Google G Suite, Acrobat, etc.)

·         Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and general networking a plus
