IT Network Engineer T3 will function as part of a team of engineers responsible to support the operations and maintenance of CACI's Corporate & Development Operations Networks. Responsibilities include Operations, management, assessments, troubleshooting, upgrades, site deployments across the CACI's distributed enterprise network environment.
NOTE: This position is located in Oklahoma City and is a hybrid role. US Citizenship is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Establishes and supports networking environment by monitoring, conducting new network related installations, documenting, and enforcing Network standards. Configure and install various network and security devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, Wireless controllers, Access points, and VPN's. Conduct network testing and monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects and Lead network engineers.
Maintain enterprise network environment to include multiple Data Center and 100 plus Campus/Satellite offices across the US. Support configuration, troubleshooting, deployment of Palo Alto Cisco FortiGate Firewalls, networking devices including, switches (Multi-Layer, Data Center/ Access/Core/ Distribution) routers, Cisco Software defined access - SDA, ISE, SDWAN, ACI, WLAN, Cisco Secure Workloads, network engineering support, network management systems, CACI office connectivity, WAN/MAN/EPL/FLEXVPN, Wired and wireless, remote access solutions, and technology pilots and office network Build outs and modifications.
Responsible for customer-related technology support
Required Qualifications:
- Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and at least 5 years of related experience.
- US Citizenship
- 5+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & Cisco iPhone Operating System (IOS) implementations
- 5+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) Networks
- 5+ years of experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Network Protocols
- Willing and able to travel domestically 10% of the time
Desired Qualifications:
- Network engineering work experience in large Enterprise environments.
- Previous experience working with Cisco equipment installation or deployment projects
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting SD-WAN and SD-A environments
- Experience with Palo Alto next generation firewall systems
- Network+ and or Security+ preferred
- CCNA, CCNP or other Cisco Certification
- Network engineering work experience in large Enterprise environments.
- Cisco CCNP certification with a desired emphasis on routing, switching. Previous experience working with Cisco equipment installation or deployment projects.
