IT Network Manager(Hybrid)

The Network Manager is responsible for crafting and keeping the Company's networking and telecommunications infrastructure operating efficiently and keeping its data secure by proactively running and maintaining the corporate network infrastructure. This role crafts & maintains a reliable, highly available, secure, and efficient data communications network.

Nature and Scope:

This working manager role leads an Infrastructure Team responsible for running the on-premise, cloud, and hybrid network infrastructure. This position works closely with other teams to craft, run, maintain, and optimize performance and security of our network infrastructure with the goal of providing a reliable, redundant, and scalable network infrastructure. Crafting, leading, and implementing infrastructure projects as the technical lead is also key to this position.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop the Network Infrastructure Strategy, Priorities, Policies, Controls and Standards through collaboration with IS leadership, as well as maintain associated key performance metrics
• Design, Implement, and Manage network solutions across a multi-site hybrid environment
• Lead architecture, design, implementation, and compliance efforts for effective network security
• Collaborate with various functions to achieve business and technical objectives including working closely with OT Network, IT Security, and Audit
• Work closely with Project Management as a domain authority to define vital project milestones and timelines to generate successful implementations
• Lead, develop, coach, and mentor the Network Administrators and interns
• Hire, handle, and lead external resources and business partners to achieve objectives and ensure successful delivery of support SLAs and project timelines
• Develop and Lead network infrastructure integration plans for newly acquired companies or functions
• Research and anticipate networking industry trends and adopt business relevant technologies into long term infrastructure and architecture roadmaps
• Lead strategy, direction, and operational planning for the infrastructure services
• Financial planning and budgeting of networking infrastructure and initiatives
• Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach and seek to automate where possible

Education and Experience:

• A degree in computer science or a related field and possess at least five years of managing teams, seven years of related networking experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CISSP designation or work towards the designation.
• Forward thinking and have the ability to work independently and exercise good judgment when solving problems.
• Possess strong customer service skills and demonstrate attention to detail.
• Ability to optimally and be able to learn and apply new technologies and skills.

Preferred Skills and Proficiencies:

• Demonstrable knowledge of network technologies and concepts including routing, switching, firewall, wireless, load balancers, etc.
• Experience with Cisco Prime, ISE, iWAN, LMS, Cisco Data Center, Palo Alto Firewall and VPN Management
• Any of the following certifications are an excellent demonstration of knowledge: CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, CCDE
• Shown success implementing projects across multi-site, multi-technology platforms including solutions such as SD-WAN, VRFs, OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP, HSRP, BGP, MPLS, QoS, Multicast, and Cloud Services
• Knowledge and experience with Cloud-based technologies such as AWS VPC, Transit Gateways, DX, Azure VNET, ExpressRoute
• Network monitoring tools expertise
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical users
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• 5 years demonstrated ability directly leading a technical support team
• 5 years demonstrated ability managing remote teams
• Travel required: Manufacturing & Operations, sites as needed for project and/or upgrade activities

Hiring Range: $95,300.00 - $149,710.00
