Tanager, Inc., is an information technology company that provides quality products and services to our customers nationwide. We currently have an open for anIT Project Support Specialistto service one of our fortune 500 customers.
THIS IS A REMOTE DAY SHIFT POSITION
Salary Range: $26.00/hr to $32.00/hr

This position involves direct communication and support to ensure readiness to cut over remote sites across the United States to a new technical solution. Excellent communication skills are necessary along with attention to detail, reliability, and desire to service the customer in the utmost professional manner.
Duties include:
• Coordination and advance preparation for customer locations
• Lead meetings with customer site personnel via phone to ensure readiness and successful completion of technical cutovers
• Work with 3rd party vendors for support, as required
• Document, track, and provide updates on deployment progress for each site
• Coordinate and monitor internal project processes
• Develop documentation in support of the requirements management process
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, show initiative, work in a team environment, and coordinate tasks
• Willingness to work across multiple projects as needed to ensure project success
Key Requirements:
• IT general skills including strong proficiency with MS Office applications
• Ability to follow SOPs and a detailed checklist
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lead multiple parties during cutover process
• Strong attention to detail, including exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Basic understanding of Windows 10 operating systems
Education/Experience:
• 3 to 5 years of related experience
• Desire customer service and IT support experience (i.e. help desk functions)
• May consider college degree in IT field in lieu of experience
• Software installation experience
• IT hospitality industry experience highly desired
