Summary
This US Agency for Global Media (USAGM) position functions as a Cloud Administrator/Developer within the Enterprise Applications Division. This position manages key enterprise-wide solutions in collaboration with developers and designers. The selectee will provide technical guidance on integrating 3rd party and custom applications into the agency's intranet. This position will provide management and administration of the intranet currently hosted on SharePoint Online.

Qualifications

To resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
Problem Solving - Identifies and analyzes problems; weighs relevance and accuracy of information; generates and evaluates alternative solutions; makes recommendations.
AND
Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the GS-13 or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT. Specialized experience for this position includes:
- Expertise in Office 365 and SharePoint environments;
- Develop scripts with tools such as Power Shell to automate tasks and manage cloud-based systems;
- Broad skill in creating tasks using project management skills to complete enhancements and additions to the system;
- Expert skill in various programming and scripting tools; and
- Develops thorough solutions using a variety of Microsoft development tools (i.e. Visual Studio, C#, ASP.Net, MS SQL Server, VBScript).
Desired skill: Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and to provide solutions to agency employees.
Education
Education is not required for this grade level. It cannot be used for qualification purposes.
