Java Developer

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Java Developer to work in the The Collateral Optimizer Team that develops and maintains IT systems to enable the Secured Financing, Securities Lending, and OTC derivatives businesses to optimally fund the Firm.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Java Developer position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

What you'll do in the role: #LI-RV1 #BPTECH

• Develop resilient and highly scalable cloud friendly systems operating in today's demanding financial environment
• Learn about the newest technologies offered by fresh startups covering our industry
• Deploy solutions for and partner with our users: Bank Resource Management and various Operations teams

What you'll bring to the role:

• Bachelor or higher degree or equivalent in a STEM field
• User level knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Knowledge of using relational databases (SQL)
• Strong communication skills with proven ability to deliver high-quality software working in multi-person teams
• At least 1-2 years of experience or equivalent with Java, primarily within server-side development
• Good understanding of multi-threaded Java programming
