Java Developer - Assistant Manager

Role Summary:

This is a hands-on senior software engineer position within the State Street Alpha's technology solution architecture team, to design and build State Street Alpha cloud based, an open architecture platform which provides a high degree of resiliency and flexibility , help to reduce operational unit costs while satisfying our clients, risk and regulatory requirements.

Core/Must have skills:

• Designs, develops and maintains software applications.
• Analyzes, designs, estimates, and develops software programs to meet project schedule.
• Maintains and supports existing software applications.
• Prepares systems documentation as needed.
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
• Solid communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Must have strong development experience in Java/J2EE.
• Should be an Individual contributor and detail oriented.
• Produces accurate and quality work.
• High level of proficiency in the required JAVA and related technologies (Struts, Spring, React JS) and SQL/PLSQL (Oracle).
• React JS, Spring, Java 8, Cloud related platforms viz Azure.
• Programming Design patterns.
• SQL Server and RDBMS, Excellent knowledge and experience in writing and tuning of SQL queries and stored procedures for RDBMs like Oracle.
• Experience on tools like GIT, SQL Developer.
• Good working knowledge on system Integration and understand the mechanism in integrating system including interfaces, API, middleware and cloud etc.

Good to have skills:

• Oracle
• Experience in or knowledge of Agile or Industrialized Agile a plus
