Job Description

Infosys is seeking Java Production Support Lead
This position's primary responsibility will be to support and maintain existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Defect Life Cycle, triage, analyze and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of work. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
  • Experience in Core Java and Production Support.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 4 to 8 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies and experience in frameworks like Spring, Hibernate
  • At least 2 year of experience in Production Support.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
  • Experience and good knowledge of Webservices, REST services, JSP and Javascripts.
  • Experience with any enterprise web server preferably Websphere or JBoss.
  • Experience in Webservices.
  • Willing to work in application/production support.
  • Experience in Banking domain.
  • Strong communication and Analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
