Position Overview:

We are seeking a psychologist with a genuine passion for Veteran care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in a range of psychotherapeutic interventions and psychological assessment services.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy, along with psychoeducational classes.
• Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
• Participating in peer review and ensuring the quality of psychology services.
• Facilitating referrals to specialty programs and community resources.
• Promoting patient independence through education and referrals.
• Training interns, practicum students, and trainees from various disciplines.
• Consulting with medical center staff to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited program or Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS).
• Completion of an APA-accredited predoctoral internship.
• Unrestricted license in any state, allows practice across VHA.
